CommerceNext Post-Purchase Forum — Terms & Conditions

By registering for and participating in the CommerceNext Post-Purchase Forum (the “Forum”), you (“you” or “your”) agree to these Terms & Conditions (“The terms“) with CommerceNext LLC (“CommerceNext,” “we,” “us,” or “our). If you are registering on behalf of another individual, you represent that you have made them aware of the terms and that they have accepted them.

The terms are as follows:

1. Attendee Requirements

• Delegate Badge: At our events your delegate badge may, with your permission, be scanned by sponsor or exhibiting companies in the exhibition hall. If you allow your badge to be scanned, you agree for those companies to contact you about their products, events and services – some of which may be promotional in nature. This may affect any previous permissions you may have given when registering for the event. If you attend a session as part of an event and you agree to your delegate badge being scanned by us at that session, we may share your registration details with the seminar / conference theatre sponsors of the sessions you attend. They may contact you about similar products, events and services related to your area of interest.
• Identification: At the time of check-in, you may be asked for proof of identification, or proof of employment to verify the information you provided in your registration profile.
• Photography and Recording: You acknowledge and accept being photographed, filmed, and/or recorded by CommerceNext staff or persons authorized by us. We reserve the right to use photographs, videos, and audio recordings taken at the Forum, and other content from virtual, social media, or similar environments made available by us or on our behalf in our marketing materials, which may include, but is not limited to, your name, voice, or image. 
• Attendee recording: The Forum is a closed door event and therefore, you are prohibited from filming, recording, or live-streaming sessions.
• Conduct: You agree to participate in the Forum professionally and respectfully, complying with:
  • all applicable laws (including health and safety requirements), including applicable state and federal laws;
  • any instructions given by the CommerceNext staff or staff at the Forum venue;
  • these Terms;
  • and the terms and conditions of the Forum venue.
  • If you engage in harassment, discrimination, threatening or abusive behavior, disruptive conduct, or other conduct that violates CommerceNext policies, CommerceNext may remove you from the Forum and restrict or prohibit you from participating in future CommerceNext programs.

2. Cancellation by you

• All requests to cancel must be submitted in writing and emailed to either registration@commercenext.com or a member of the CommerceNext team’s personal email address. 
• For cancellations received 7 or more days prior to the event, you may receive a refund OR substitute another person to attend in your place at no charge.
• For cancellations received 6 or less days prior to the event, we will not issue a refund.
• You are not permitted to swap your pass or allow another individual to attend in place of the named delegate without formal request and acceptance of event management in writing.

4. Terms of Participation in CommerceNext Meetings Program

1. Gift Card: Qualifying retailers and consumer brands will receive a $250 gift card in exchange for completing the applicable Forum participation requirements.The gift card is subject to the requirements described below and will only be issued to eligible participants who successfully complete the Forum requirements. The gift card is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or another form of payment. 
2. Eligibility: To participate, you must: (a) be directly employed by a qualifying retailer, consumer brand, direct-to-consumer brand, online marketplace, or other qualifying commerce organization; (b) have a role involving the evaluation, purchase, recommendation, or influence of technology, services, or solutions relevant to your organization; (c) provide accurate and complete registration information; (d) participate in the Forum as required by CommerceNext; and (e) remain employed by the organization upon which your eligibility is based through the Forum. CommerceNext determines eligibility in its sole discretion and may deny or revoke participation at any time.
3. Forum Participation Requirements: As a condition of receiving the Forum gift card, you agree to:
   (a) complete your Forum registration and profile by the deadline communicated by CommerceNext;
   (b) provide any requested information regarding your company, role, responsibilities, and areas of interest;
   (c) participate in the Forum and any required sessions, discussions, or activities communicated by CommerceNext;
   (d) attend and actively participate in all Hosted Meetings scheduled for you through the Forum’s double opt-in, mutually matched meeting process;
   (e) respond to CommerceNext communications and meeting requests by the stated deadlines; and
   (f) complete any required post-Forum feedback or survey.

   Hosted Meetings are intended to be one-to-one meetings between you and participating sponsors or solution providers. CommerceNext does not guarantee that you will be matched with any particular sponsor or receive a specific number of meetings. To receive the $250 gift card, you must complete all Hosted Meetings scheduled for you. The $250 gift card is an all-or-nothing incentive based on completion of your scheduled meetings, except as expressly provided below.

   If CommerceNext is only able to schedule one (1) Hosted Meeting for you due to limited meeting availability or matching opportunities, the gift card amount will be $100, provided that you complete that scheduled meeting and all other applicable Forum participation requirements.

   CommerceNext may determine whether a Hosted Meeting has been satisfactorily completed, including whether you attended on time and participated for the full scheduled duration.

4. Gift Card Eligibility: The applicable gift card will be provided only to participants who satisfy all applicable Forum participation requirements. If you are scheduled for two (2) or more Hosted Meetings, you must complete all of your scheduled Hosted Meetings to receive the $250 gift card. Failure to attend or complete any scheduled Hosted Meeting will generally make you ineligible for the $250 gift card. If CommerceNext is only able to schedule one (1) Hosted Meeting for you, you will be eligible to receive a $100 gift card upon completion of that meeting and satisfaction of all other Forum participation requirements.

   No partial gift card will be provided based on completing only some of multiple scheduled meetings. For example, if you are scheduled for three (3) meetings and complete only two (2), you will not be eligible for the $250 gift card.

   CommerceNext may also deny the applicable gift card if you provide inaccurate or incomplete information, fail to meet the eligibility requirements, fail to participate meaningfully in the Forum, or violate these Terms & Conditions or applicable CommerceNext Event policies.

5. Cancellation and Substitutions: If you are unable to attend the Forum, you must notify CommerceNext as soon as possible. CommerceNext may, in its discretion, allow you to nominate a qualified substitute from your organization. Any substitute must be approved by CommerceNext in advance and independently satisfy the eligibility requirements.The $250 gift card is available only to the individual who actually participates in the Forum and satisfies all applicable requirements.
6. Employment Changes: You must notify CommerceNext immediately if you are no longer employed by the organization upon which your Forum eligibility was based. If your employment changes before the Forum, you may no longer be eligible to participate or receive the gift card.
7. Contact Information and Privacy: You consent to CommerceNext using and sharing your professional contact information, including your name, job title, company, business email address, and information contained in your Forum profile, as reasonably necessary to administer the Forum and facilitate communications and participation. Your information will otherwise be handled in accordance with CommerceNext’s Privacy Policy.
8. Professional Conduct: You agree to participate in the Forum professionally and respectfully and to comply with CommerceNext’s applicable Event Terms & Conditions, policies, and instructions. CommerceNext may terminate your participation or deny your gift card if you engage in harassment, discrimination, threatening or abusive behavior, disruptive conduct, or other conduct that violates CommerceNext policies.
9. Event Terms and Changes: Your participation in the Forum is also subject to CommerceNext’s applicable Event Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. CommerceNext reserves the right to modify the Forum, including its date, location, format, agenda, speakers, programming, or participation requirements. CommerceNext may postpone, cancel, relocate, or materially modify the Forum as circumstances require.
10. Qualification and Administration CommerceNext has sole discretion to determine eligibility, participation requirements, and whether a participant has satisfied the requirements necessary to receive the $250 gift card.

     

CommerceNext may restrict or prohibit an individual from participating in future CommerceNext programs based on failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
